Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every project and service provided by Webengine, based in Qatar, reachable at hello@wwebengine.com. By starting a project or signing a proposal with us, you agree to these terms.

# 1. Our services

We design and build custom websites, web applications, and related software. The scope, features, timeline, and price for each project are set out in a written plan or proposal that you approve before work begins. If the plan and these terms conflict, the plan applies for project details only.

# 2. Quotes and payments

  1. Estimates are valid for [NUMBER] days unless stated otherwise.
  2. We usually request a deposit of [DEPOSIT %] to begin work, then payments at agreed milestones.
  3. Invoices are payable within [NUMBER] days. Work may pause if an invoice is overdue.
  4. Prices exclude taxes and third-party costs such as domains, hosting, and software licences, unless the plan says otherwise.

# 3. Your responsibilities

You provide accurate information, content, images, and access to any accounts we need, and you respond to reviews within the time agreed in the plan. Delays caused by late feedback may extend the timeline.

# 4. Ownership of work

Once the final payment is received, you own the custom code and content created specifically for your project. We keep ownership of our general tools, templates, and know-how, and may reuse them in other projects without disclosing your confidential information. Third-party components remain under their own licences.

# 5. Confidentiality

Each party keeps the other party's confidential information private and uses it only for the project. This does not apply to information that is already public or must be disclosed by law.

# 6. Warranties and liability

We will perform the services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the affected project in the [NUMBER] months before the claim.

# 7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW, e.g. the State of Qatar]. Disputes will first be discussed in good faith, then resolved in the courts of [JURISDICTION].

We share information only with service providers that help us run projects, such as hosting, payment, email, and code-hosting providers, and only as needed for those services. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

# 4. How long we keep it

We keep project records for [NUMBER] years for accounting and legal reasons. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after [NUMBER] months.

# 5. Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct, export, or delete your personal information by emailing hello@wwebengine.com. We will respond within [NUMBER] days.

# 6. Security and children

Return Policy

Our services are custom digital work, so there are no physical returns. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work.

# 1. Before work starts

If you cancel before we begin work, we refund your deposit minus a non-refundable planning fee of [AMOUNT].

# 2. During the project

If you cancel during the project, you pay for the work completed up to the cancellation date, and we refund any balance paid in advance. Cancellation must be sent in writing.

# 3. After delivery

Once a delivery is accepted or [NUMBER] days pass without objection, no refund is due. If a deliverable does not match the approved plan, tell us in writing within [NUMBER] days. We will fix the issue at no extra cost, or refund the affected part of the fee if we cannot.

# 4. Care plans and subscriptions
