# process.md: how a project moves from idea to launch
Every step ends with something you can hold: a written plan, a working preview, or a live site. You decide whether to continue at each step.
## 01. Tell us what you need
Send a brief, book a call, or share a sketch. We ask the questions that matter: who uses it, what it must do, and what must not break.
- You do: fill in start.tsx or book a 30 minute call
- We do: reply within [X] working days
- You get: a short list of questions to answer
## 02. We write the plan
We write the scope, features, timeline, and a price range. Nothing is coded before you approve this document.
- You do: review and ask for changes
- We do: estimate each feature and name the risks
- You get: a written plan you keep, even if you do not hire us
## 03. We build in short sprints
Work is split into one or two week sprints. At the end of each sprint you see a working preview, not a slide deck.
- You do: test the preview and tell us what to change
- We do: write code, test it, and review it before sharing
- You get: working progress every week and a clear view of what is next
## 04. We launch and support
We move the project to a live server, train your team, and hand over the source code and documentation.
- You do: nominate one person to approve changes
- We do: deploy, monitor, and fix issues during launch week
- You get: a handover pack and an optional care plan
# typical timeline: [X] to [Y] weeks, depending on scope
